Job Description Summary Under the direction of the Department Manager, performs interpretive, patient care and technical functions to insure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients.
We have full time, part time, and per diem positions available.
Job Description Radiographer Duties :
o Performs x-rays ordered by the Provider to help diagnose a variety of medical problems o Closely follows provider instructions o Communicates effectively with all types of patients to gain their understanding and cooperation with radiographic testing o Prepares radiographic equipment o Assists patients in removal of garments or jewelry that that may interfere with the procedure o Positions patients correctly o Accurately captures the requested diagnostic image by setting the equipment to obtain the best density, detail and contrast of the area being imaged o Takes preventative steps to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation o Stores and maintains radiographic images according to clinic protocol o Assists patients by copying or transferring x-ray images for use by their PCP or specialty physician o Cleans and disinfects x-ray equipment using appropriate materials.
o Keeps x-ray suite well stocked, clean and orderly at all times o Wears appropriate RAD badge at all times Clinical Duties:
oComplies with all HIPPA regulations with regards to patient privacy oComplies with all OSHA safety standards oObtains pertinent clinical information including the patient's complaint, health history andmeasurement of vital signs oPrepares patient for examination oPrepares for all necessary procedures and treatments per established specifications oAssists providers with examinations, procedures and treatments oPerforms wound irrigations, dressings, bandages wounds and incisions, and applies splints as wellas other tasks ordered by the Provider oPerforms diagnostic tests including eye exams, Pulse Ox, Peak flow and throat and nasal swabs oPerforms CLIA-waived lab tests; labels and processes specimens to send to the laboratory oPerforms daily office and laboratory opening and closing procedures oMaintains emergency equipment for use at all times in a clean and safe condition oMaintains supplies, stocks exam rooms, treatment areas and laboratory daily oSterilizes non-disposable instruments and disposes of contaminated supplies and medical wastein accordance with established standards oProvides discharge instructions as ordered by the Provider oAssists the Provider and front office staff to facilitate flow through the clinic in a timely andappropriate fashion oMaintains proficiency in all areas by attending trainings as required oMaintains CPR certification JOB REQUIREMENTS o Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program is required o Massachusetts state licensure in Radiography is required o Knowledge of medical terminology o Basic computer skills o Skill in obtaining and maintaining accurate medical records o Ability to communicate clearly and show patience with patients o Must be able to perform each essential duty related to examination, diagnostic and treatment room responsibilities satisfactorily o Ability to initiate and complete tasks related to job duties without direct request of supervisor o Ability to work well with others and be willing to help when needed o Maintains strictest confidentiality of patient information o Ability to multi-task with patients and other responsibilities Recommended Skills Cpr Clinical Works Communication Confidentiality Front Office Health Care Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
